Hatchets Pond and Little Hatchet Pond is situated in the New Forest near Beaulieu and offers a wide variety of species including Tench, Bream, Pike, Roach, Rudd, Perch, Eels and Carp (some of specimen size). The lake is quite exposed being in an area that was used as an airfield during the Second World War and often has waves on it when windy, some say this is the best time for a chance to catch a big one!
